MARCOPOLO MP10
MARCOPOLO MP10 — Freedom in Motion
The MARCOPOLO MP10 is a 9.96-metre Italian-built adventure yacht conceived for owners who want the capability of an offshore boat without giving up the openness, social space and performance of a dayboat.
Developed by Roberto Delfanti Design Lab and built by 3AF Shipyard, the MP10 combines a CFD-developed double-step hull, twin high-power outboards and an unusually spacious walkaround deck. It is CE Category B, certified for up to 12 persons.
Design Philosophy
The MP10 is deliberately different from a conventional 10-metre cruiser.
Its design combines three characteristics:
Adventure — high bulwarks, protected helm, offshore Category B certification and a substantial structural frame around the engines.
Performance — a lightweight construction and CFD-developed double-stepped hull designed to provide efficiency, balance and control at speed.
Lifestyle — a very large open bow, convertible aft cockpit, folding bulwarks and a flexible interior that can change from dayboat to short-stay cruiser.
The result is a boat intended to be equally comfortable taking a family for a day on the water, carrying a group of friends offshore, or undertaking short overnight adventures.
Hull & Performance
The MP10's double-stepped hull is one of its principal technical features.
The hull was developed using CFD analysis, with the objective of balancing:
High-speed efficiency
Directional stability
Reduced drag
Acceleration
Control in rougher conditions
The boat uses a lightweight construction incorporating recycled PET cores and honeycomb polypropylene, combined with fiberglass. This approach is intended to provide structural strength without carrying unnecessary weight.
Twin outboards
The engines are mounted within a substantial protective structural frame, which incorporates the aft safety structure and protects the propulsion installation.
The MP10 is designed specifically around twin outboards rather than being a boat that simply happens to accept them. MARCOPOLO cites the advantages as:
Performance
Agility
Ease of handling
Simplified propulsion maintenance
More usable interior volume compared with an inboard installation
At its 2026 Düsseldorf debut, the MP10 was shown with twin 300-hp outboards.
4. Exterior & Deck
This is arguably the MP10's strongest feature.
Forward deck
The MP10 has an unusually generous open bow with:
Large sunbathing area
Social seating
Deep protective bulwarks
Wide walkaround arrangement
Substantial storage
The bow is intended to function as a genuine outdoor living space rather than simply a foredeck used for anchoring.
Aft cockpit
The aft cockpit is highly configurable and incorporates:
Dining table
Sofa seating
Convertible seating arrangement
Sunpad capability
Folding aft bulwarks
The fold-down bulwarks are standard, extending the cockpit laterally and creating a much more open relationship with the water.
5. Pilothouse
The MP10's central hardtop provides a protected helm while maintaining the feeling of an open boat.
Features include:
Twin helm seats
Protected steering position
Large windshield
Side access
Opening aft section
Hardtop protection
Galley module behind/adjacent to the helm
The asymmetrical walkaround arrangement gives particular emphasis to the port-side passage, while the substantial hardtop protects both the helm and galley area.
6. Outdoor Living
MARCOPOLO has given the MP10 a strong emphasis on social use.
The aft seating can be configured for:
Dining → lounging → sunbathing
The aft sofa's backrest can change orientation, allowing it to function as conventional seating or contribute to the sunpad arrangement.
The exclusive Space Shell upholstery is designed to remain cooler and more comfortable when exposed to the sun.

Luxurious 12.7-metre Adventure Yacht
MARCOPOLO MP12 — Built to Go Beyond
The MARCOPOLO MP12 is a 12.70-metre Italian adventure yacht developed around a very different philosophy from the conventional European cruiser. It combines the open-deck character of a large walkaround with the protection and accommodation of a cruiser, while retaining the performance and maneuverability of a triple-outboard installation.
Designed by Roberto Delfanti and built by 3AF Shipyard, the MP12 is conceived as a highly versatile platform that can transition between open and cruiser configurations, with structural modules designed to permit future conversion.
Design Philosophy
The MP12 is built around four fundamental principles:
Adventure
A high-bulwark, offshore-oriented hull, substantial exterior working areas and a protected central helm give the boat genuine all-weather capability.
Performance
The triple-stepped hull was developed using CFD analysis, with the objective of reducing hydrodynamic resistance while maintaining stability at high speed.
Versatility
The boat can be configured as an open adventure yacht or as a fully enclosed cruiser, with modular construction allowing future changes to the layout.
Comfort
Despite its adventure-boat DNA, the MP12 provides two cabins, four berths and a separate-shower bathroom, together with natural wood, premium fabrics and extensive storage.
Hull & Performance
The MP12's hull is a major part of the boat's identity.
It uses a triple-step planing hull, developed through CFD analysis to optimize:
Water flow
Hydrodynamic efficiency
Acceleration
High-speed stability
Fuel efficiency
Long-distance cruising comfort
MARCOPOLO states that the hull is designed to permit safe cruising at approximately 40 knots.
Triple-outboard propulsion
The MP12 can accommodate:
3 × 350 hp
A balanced configuration emphasizing performance and efficiency.
3 × 400 hp
The configuration displayed at boot Düsseldorf 2026.
3 × 450 hp
The maximum published configuration, providing a potential 1,350 hp total.
The triple-engine arrangement provides an important combination of:
Redundancy
Acceleration
High-speed capability
Precise maneuverability
Easy engine access
Reduced mechanical complexity compared with large inboard installations
4. Advanced Construction
The MP12 incorporates several modern construction techniques.
Lightweight composite construction
The structural design uses:
Fiberglass
Recycled PET structural cores
Honeycomb polypropylene
Carbon fibre
The PET and honeycomb materials reduce weight while maintaining stiffness and durability.
Carbon-fibre hardtop
One of the MP12's signature features is its carbon-fibre hardtop and supporting pillars.
This provides:
Lower structural weight
Lower centre of gravity
Reduced topweight
Increased structural stiffness
Premium appearance
The combination of carbon fibre and lightweight composite construction is particularly significant on a high-performance boat of this size.
