The wide console is an important feature because the 79 can accommodate a relatively substantial helm station while retaining considerable interior space.

3. Seating and cockpit

The standard 79 SL includes an extensive cushion package:

The aft backrest and cushions can be arranged to create a large aft sunpad.

Suite configuration

The Aft U-shaped couch is available as the Suite version. This creates a more conventional social/dining area in the aft section.

One of the major differences between the 79 SL and smaller Sport Luxury models is the amount of equipment integrated into the boat.

This is a significant distinction from the smaller 49 and 59 Sport Luxury models, where some of these electrical items are options.

8. Plus version — WC

The ZAR 79 Sport Luxury Plus adds the special console/cabin arrangement prepared for a toilet.

The Plus configuration provides:

Sink
Provision for porta-potti or marine toilet
Toilet installation possibilities
Additional Flexiteek options specifically for the Plus cabin

The actual electric marine toilet with waste tank is an option, even on the Plus version.

So there is an important distinction:

79 SL Plus = toilet-ready cabin/console

versus

79 SL Plus + electric marine WC + waste tank = fully equipped head.
